The Winkie Drill is easily portable.
The Winkie Drill is easily transported by helicopter, ATV or snow machine. It is also light enough that it can be carried into drilling locations by two people. The Winkie uses aluminum drill rods, which are durable, but lighter than traditional steel rods for ease of carrying into remote locations. The Winkie has a unipress frame, which allows for steady feed pressure with minimal operator exertion. With a depth range of up to 475’, the Winkie is a great choice for boreholes in difficult to access locations.
