Almost all workplace accidents and injuries are preventable. STOP and THINK before you ACT.

Serious about safety.

A commitment to health and safety from all levels of our organization is integral to a successful Health and Safety program. Walker Drilling management is committed to providing a safe and healthy workplace for all employees, and expects that employees will have the same commitment to their work and worksites. In addition, we are committed to ensuring that our workplaces are also safe for all clients, visitors and members of the public to the best of our collective ability.

SAFETY MEETINGS

Tailgate Meetings

Daily Tailgate Meetings are an integral part of staying safe on the job. Each of our crews takes a few minutes at the start of every day to review the hazards on the jobsite for the day, and what can be done to eliminate or control for identified hazards. Everyone present on our worksites must attend and sign off their attendance at the daily meeting.

Joint Health and Safety Committee Meetings

In addition to daily safety meetings, Joint Health and Safety Committee meetings are held several times a year to discuss workplace health and safety, address any employee concerns, and discuss steps forward we would like to be taking to continually improve our health and safety at work.

We are committed to being your preferred drilling contractor by consistently providing the best service.
